The
Darkness comes to me in my dreams
Black as night and cold as steel
It slithers and probes and catches me by the throat
Trying to kill me on this nightly road
Black as night and cold as steel
It slithers and probes and catches me by the throat
Trying to kill me on this nightly road
Sweating
and wild-eyed, heart beating like a drum
I hear them coming, their deadly whispers a frightening hum
Fingers bloody from clawing, at the walls of this dark place
The thought of not awaking, brings horror to my face
I hear them coming, their deadly whispers a frightening hum
Fingers bloody from clawing, at the walls of this dark place
The thought of not awaking, brings horror to my face
Hiding in my
mind, they find me nonetheless
Their icy fingers touching, my face with dread caress
I can move no longer, they drag me across the floor
Falling to my doom, I realize: I can breathe no more
Their icy fingers touching, my face with dread caress
I can move no longer, they drag me across the floor
Falling to my doom, I realize: I can breathe no more
